Apple Events September 2017- It has finally happened !

And it’s finally here! The most awaited Apple Events of 2017 finally took place on September 12th, 2017 at the Steve Jobs Theater, California. Apple calls this it’s ‘spaceship’ headquarters, where more than 12,000 of its employees will soon be working.

There has been much speculation around the iPhone X (Ten, as they call it), mainly surrounding its face unlock feature and sky-high prices. But that isn’t all. At this Event, Apple announced its game plan for the next decade by unveiling 5 new gadgets after the keynote –

And now, in case you missed the deets, here are the amazing and improved features of these new Apple releases.

Apple Watch 3

The 3rd of the Apple watch series, this wearable does a lot more than it used to before. Apple watch 3 has the in-built cellular feature, which lets you make calls, send iMessages, add reminders, and more without having your phone on you. This, thanks to the all-new LTE connectivity. Oh and you can stream songs too!

Apple also claims that it is the ultimate sports watch, letting you personalize your workouts while it takes care of all the stats. AND, this smart device will also set goals and offer positive reinforcements for exercise!

The Apple Watch 3 is compatible with an iPhone 6 or iOS 11 version upwards (do we hear upgrades?). The non-cellular version will start at $329 and the cellular from $399. It shall be in the market on September 22nd.

Apple TV 4K

The improved (but not so new) Apple TV offers a 4K HDR display quality. It can integrate with and stream movies, music, news and more with apps like Netflix and ESPN, including live streaming. These are the two highlights of the improved version. Then there’s the voice control remote where you can tell SIRI what you want to watch and she’ll play it for you. Connect your TV to iCloud for viewing all your photos and videos and share them too. Built with the A10X Fusion Chip offers a richer gaming and viewing experience.

And finally, if you own a smart home, then you can perform daily functions through the Apple TV remotely with the Home App. It will start shipping at $179 on day of launch and shall be in the market on September 22nd.

iPhone 8 and 8 Plus

The all-new iPhone will have a complete glass design (clumsy droppers, watch out!) with an improved camera, wireless charging, and an ultra powerful chip. Apple says that the iPhone 8 will give you a never-before seen augmented reality experience. The sturdy glass design will be water and dust resistant, with 2 screen size options of 4.7 and 5.5 inches. Photos can be viewed in an HD, Retina ready display and have 3D touch and True Tone. The 8 will have a 12MP camera, which will get better with the 8Plus. And finally, this is the iPhone that’s touted to be faster than all its predecessors with the A11 Bionic CPU that can increase speeds by as much as 25% compared to before. Preorders for the iPhone 8 open September 15th and shipping starts September 22nd!

iPhone X (Ten)

Say hello to the future (that’s what Apple said) with the extremely-immersive and uber-intelligent iPhone X. The highlight of this newest Apple creation is that it is All Screen. The 5.8 inch display is completely made of the front screen, no borders that may interrupt your viewing experience. The Super Retina OLED screen has a 1,000,000:1 ratio makes the colors look so real that it feels like it’s really happening. Built with intuitive gestures, the screen goes to Home without any buttons, taking cues from familiar gestures.

And now for the most talked-about feature – Face ID. Not just for unlocking your phone, this intuitive and smart feature can be used for authentication and Apple Pay too. Just like the 8 series, the 10 also features the A11 Bionic CPU for greater speed and efficiency. Other features are wireless charging, dust and water resistance, etc.

The reason iPhone X has gained popularity is the whopping £999 introductory price! Preorders open October 27th and shipping starts November 3rd!
The new AirPower charging was also introduced by Apple at the event. It can be used to charge your iPhone 8 and 10, and even the watch!
